Position : Sales Account Manager - SMB & Enterprise Accounts

Location: HIVE 5, Mranti, Bukit Jalil, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur

Report To: GM / COO

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with IT and business unit stakeholders within SMB and Enterprise clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding each customer’s strategic goals, technology landscape, and pain points.
  • Lead periodic business reviews and ensure client satisfaction throughout the service lifecycle.

2. Strategic Sales & Business Growth

  • Identify and close new business opportunities within SMB and Enterprise accounts.
  • Manage full sales cycles—from prospecting and proposal development to negotiation and closing.
  • Conduct sales presentations, solution demonstrations, and commercial negotiations tailored to the customer’s business scale.
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant solutions to maximize value within existing accounts.

3. Partner, Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with technology principals, partners, and vendors to build joint value propositions for clients.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (presales, delivery, and support) to align on solution delivery and customer expectations.

4. Account & Market Management

  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trends within SMB and Enterprise markets.
  • Recommend competitive pricing strategies and positioning based on market intelligence.
  • Handle customer feedback, service issues, and quality concerns by initiating appropriate corrective actions.

5. Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate records of account activities, forecasts, and pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, client updates, and sales performance tracking.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 2–3 years of proven experience in account or sales management within the IT industry.
  • Strong track record managing both SMB and Enterprise clients.
  • Experience in IT solutions, services, and product sales (infrastructure, software, managed services, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • High initiative, independent and team-oriented with strong networking abilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
