Responsibilities:

To maintain and develop on existing Java systems.
To research, develop and translate requirements into desired solutions.
To provide technical support on existing system.
To handle client’s ticket, study and analyse the logs and perform bug fixes.
To manage and be involved in the development of the application system according to the system specification provided.
To be involved in application integration, enhancement, implementation and version control of existing system.
To assist in coding to develop and maintain proprietary software and translate detailed design into computer software, including test, debug and finalize software.
To be able to analyze user requirements and work with developers in enhancing, supporting and customizing software applications to improve the existing standard.
To liaise with users to gather and understand technical and business requirements.
To participate in our turnkey project development.
To be adept at creating test cases, screen designs, database schema, use-case diagrams and detailed flow charts to outline system functionality and processes.
To maintain systems and user documentations such as system requirement specification, system design specification and test plan.
To assume any other responsibilities as deem necessary by the management from time to time.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
Required skills: JAVA/J2SE/J2EE, JSP
Preferred skills: Hibernate, Spring Framework/Struct, AJAX and Java Script
Knowledge of XML and OO Programming.
Experience on database such as MYSQL, Oracle and MSSQL.
Experience on application, web and database server installation and configuration.
Familiar with LINUX, UNIX and SOLARIS operating platform.
Willing to work on weekend, night shift or public holiday. Allowance will be provided accordingly.
Able to work independently, strong work commitment, trustworthy, good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English, Chinese for both written and spoken. Fluent in Cantonese speaking.
